The Cumberland County Schools (CCS) will operate on a two-hour delay on Friday, October 12, and 12-month employees and Central Services staff will report at their normal time (Option A). This decision was made after consulting with Cumberland County Emergency Management and local law enforcement officials.

The purpose of the delay is to ensure that bus drivers can safely operate in the daylight to avoid road dangers and to ensure the safe travel of students to school.

There will be no morning Prime Time and school breakfast will not be served.

Rockfish will open its doors at 9:20 a.m.  The first bell will ring at 9:40 a.m. and the tardy bell will ring at 9:45 a.m.  Please be safe!
