Students walking under a limbo stick with neon tape and black lights.Rockfish Elementary students were able to celebrate the success of our fall fundraiser with a DJ Glow Party.  Students who sold 6 or more items were able to dance with neon glow tape on them.  There were black lights that made the neon tape light up.  The students had a great time dancing and having fun with their friends.

A teacher, a student, and Ronald McDonald working together with a magic wand.The McDonald’s on Hope Mills Road sponsored “A Friendship Adventure with Ronald McDonald”.  Ronald talked to the Kindergarten – 2nd-grade students about friends and bullies.  He gave them tips on how to be a friend and how to stand up to bullies.  The students enjoyed songs and magic tricks.  A few students and teachers were selected to go up on stage and help him.  Ronald’s main message was: Be a friend to everyone!
